Just finished #AliensDarkDescent, on PS5. For a real-time stealth/action tactics game it controlled well on a gamepad, thanks to some very accessible control-design where you move your whole squad as one unit and a generous slow-mo mode which activates when you select orders. Not to say it's easy, it's not. Very tense, very hectic at times. Difficulty felt just right. Story was engaging too.
Great game overall, and my second fave Alien game after Isolation.

@danielholt I've been smashing through Hot Wheels 2 on XBox, along with my usual retro gaming fare on the MISTer.
It's more of the wonderful same with some additional (and frustratingly difficult) modes like drift combo, where you can't touch the sides of the track!
I also tried a little Hogwarts, which my kids recently bought, but it's a bit meh.
On my pile of shame is Aliens Dark Descent which I bought a couple of months ago and have only put about an hour into.

Creo q me meto demasiado en el papel en el #aliensdarkdescent y voy con muchiiiiiiiiiisima cautela. Analizo hasta los patrones de conducta de los aliens viendo x donde va el puntito en el sensor de movimiento 🤷♂️🤦♂️
Un juego q parece de unas 15horas a mi me puede durar 80 🤣🤣🤣🤣 -

Ooooh! #Starfield has gone gold! That leaves me with a few weeks to finish #JediSurvivor, #Stray, #AliensDarkDescent, #TheExpanse (Telltale) and check out #Everspace2. Not sure how I can fit #PayDay3 when that releases. And I'm still playing #CoDMW2 (MP and DMZ).
Man, and I've even ignored some of the #XboxGamePass titles (#Doom2 and #SeriousSam for instance). -
