I'm sick, so I'm binging "Alien: Earth" and I think this is the sequel that really manages to bridge the gap between the more philosophical sci-fi and the creature horror sci-fi where "Prometheus" and everything after couldn't. It really manages to get the two halves to fit together better than most of those other attempts. This would be great, if there weren't so many plot holes and asinine decisions made by the characters for no reason. This also only happens in the monster sequences and it's so annoying. Why does equipmemt malfunction all the time? It just feels lazy. There could've been a ton of other reasons for shit to go wrong.

Since Lost I was not invested much into watching shows. I was rejected from this enigmatic pull creators were able to facilitate with their stories. I just spend to much time in my childhood in front of the telly, so just watching a blank wall is something more worthy than doing that, in general.
But watching walls means investing into something original and new, which takes investment of personality.
Before a few days I decided to spend my time watching #AlienEarth, and the pull is back again. -
