One thing I'm not sure everyone who uses social media understands is how difficult it is for corporations to manipulate a platform that doesn't have algorithms. This is a good thing for regular users.
It's also why corporations and brands are so tied to FB and the Hellsite.

Being #AlgorithmFree here has me using the star way MORE for posts I agree with, find funny or insightful—precisely because it doesn’t feel performative. And flooding my followers’ timelines by boosting everything I enjoy feels like a disservice. Still figuring it out, obvs. #TwitterMigration #TootNoob -
