Tonight in 1959 — Paul Douglas starred on ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS (in one of his final roles).
Directed by John Brahm (HANGOVER SQUARE) and co-starring Robert Morse and Hugh Marlowe, "Touché" is a perfectly paced episode w/ a delicious twist.
Sadly, Douglas died 3 months later from a heart attack at age 52. A great talent gone too soon.

Tonight in 1960 — Mystery writer Henry Slesar made his TV writing debut on ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS.
“40 Detectives Later” starred James Franciscus and Jack Weston.
Slesar’s crime-with-a-twist style would reach its apex as Emmy-winning head writer of THE EDGE OF NIGHT.
