I have improved the muting of posts. its case insensitive (woRD=word). It also checks the media descriptions and tags. and alsonworks in notifications.

@gabboman i was looking for a way to hide posts with certain phrases (e.g. certain dogwhistles or slurs) whether they're behind a cw or not? like the feature on xkit back when it was in vogue and useful that would hide a post behind a notif like "this post contains a word you've blocked ([insert blocked word/phrase here]), only click if you wish to see the post anyway"

following the lemmy.world fediverse report is so funny bc most of my dashboard here is just gossip from instances i have never been on and never plan to go on, but i'll be damned if i don't know their drama

to anyone who uses hypnospace outlaw's tune sequencer to make music, i respect the lot of you beyond words rn, from what i can gather i can only work on two-bar-long patterns and just place them in an order?? this is my first rodeo with any music program like this so forgive me for sounding like a baby but TWO BARS AT A TIME? good grief
i like the sample selection and note input methods tho, and i like that those two bars can have separate layers to play with other samples ig, but maybe pattern sequencing just ain't my way of composing <:)

i played with Who Will Know to fit a soundtrack vibe. blaming brainrot on that one.

electric guitar sounds messier than i like but it's thematically important to the scene it fits in my fucking brain.

one thing i'll also ask abt the site, i try as often as i can to describe images, i can describe videos if i post a video, but i have to ask what would be best for descriptions for posting music without lyrics? like, do i describe the instruments and genre? dunno what to do abt those, will just try My Best

do we have a DM feature native to wafrn yet? there's a tab for private messages but i can't find a way to send an initial message to a user from their profile, is it just for communications in other feds or are we getting a DM feature in the future? don't mean to rush anything, just wanna ask!

@gabboman i love being on wafrn at such an early point. one, because a smaller community feels closer and more like "the old web", and two, i get to see the Funny Bugs that only show up during a site's relative infancy
