I don't watch much broadcast TV, so I didn't see this on the Junos award show on the weekend, but it's nice it's available online:

I was more into other things, but I came to appreciate Rush a lot more over the (many) years since then. Geddy Lee famously commented after the death of drummer/lyricist Neil Peart that (inexact quote) "Neil was Rush; there is no Rush any more".
But a few months back, five years after Neil's death, Geddy and guitarist Alex Lifeson announced they were having fun playing with a new drummer, a young woman named Anika Nilles, and planned a Rush tour in 2026. I wasn't aware they were playing at the Junos, but they sound pretty good together to me. My brother, of course, already has tickets to one of the dates on that tour.
It must be somewhat incredible to be onstage, playing as part of a group that was putting out big albums a decade or more before you were born.

ich habe gerade mein Ticket gebucht und freu mich so: gestern in einem Jahr werde ich in Köln auf meinem ersten #Rush-Konzert sein! Ich dachte nicht , dass sie jemals wieder auf Tour gehen und ich so eine Gelegenheit bekommen würde.

De acuerdo a lo que informa RollingStone, ya hay varias fechas confirmadas en norteamerica entre junio y septiembre del próximo año. La baterista que acompañará el dúo será Anika Nilles.
Ojalá que extiendan la gira y bajen a sudamerica también.
