Das #AlekSIS-Team trifft sich traditionell zum Sommer-Sprint in Lübeck.
Dieses Jahr gibt es ersten Merch mit dem neuen Maskottchen, dem Aleksolotl.
Zum neuen Schuljahr gehen am #Katharineum zu Lübeck die neuen Stundenplan- und Kursbuch-Module in Betrieb.

This is work funded by @NGIZero to bring a new, versatile permission management system to the #AlekSIS school information system. @hansegucker and I will be drafting a new, modular AAA and RBAC system matching the complex needs of a system like AlekSIS.

During the last week, the #AlekSIS team held a fruitful and constructive presentation at #didacta, the self-proclaimed "biggest education trade fair" in Europe.
Having talked to around 200 (head)teachers and decision makers, and with more than 100 participants in our requirements survey, we are now charting a helpful and economical course for the next development steps in our #FOSS school organisation software.

Dafür ist Schule evtl. auch nicht so ein attraktiver Kunde schätze ich.
Was ich z.B. so an Zeugnisverwaltungsprogrammen gesehen habe ist teilweise echt 1990…

Schulen bekommen ipads gestellt.
Glaube AlekSIS hatte mir @angry auch schon mal empfohlen.
Wir nutzen Verwaltungsoftware von Privatfirmen bzw. mit ASV BW eine Landeslösung. Da braucht es aber immer auch Ansprechpartner, wenn etwas mal nicht funktioniert.
Daher ernst gemeinte Fragen:
Wie ist denn bei #AlekSIS der #Support gewährleistet?
Kann man mit #Linux ein #Windows-Server-Netzwerk ersetzen?

Just learnt about #AlekSIS @AlekSISorg at #FOSDEM. A #FreeSoftware School Information System under EUPL, developed by and for #schools in the Lübeck area.
Interesting to compare to the #RegistroElettronico landscape in italian schools.
