I swear I'm an organised artist and have no problems with my pet.
-
I'm not sure if she's actually watching or is just waiting for dinner time, but it's nice to have someone to discuss with.
-
It's a cold, miserable day, so I've settled for the noble task of being a cat heater
-
Someone had anti-tick med applied yesterday, and did not respond well to it. She'll be indoors for observation today, and if she can keep an ordinary collar for three weeks* I'll get her a tick-collar instead. Those I know she can handle. I'll now spend Good Friday wallowing in bad conscience, and probably cat complaints.
(*territory disputes among the cats means a collar is a trap risk)

Probably the last adventure around the esker; the first mosquitoes assaulted me on the way back (I hate those suckers). But Alea found A Very Good Spot for sand bathing, so it was all worth it.
-
Good morning! I did went to bed properly, so we both had a good night's sleep. However, it looks like I'm not allowed to leave the bed yet.
-
I should properly go to bed, but she's sleeping so cutely...

Portrait of a tiny innocent void suffering the Great Injustice of not being let out when there are _imposters_ on her territory. 'Veterinary bills are expensive even with insurance' and 'no car to use in emergencies' are definitely just excuses - that last time wasn't as serious as matte says it was!

On the esker again. I think Alea brings me there because she's slightly scared to explore it alone. And I'm taking the chance because this is the one week of nice weather before the mosquitoes in the bog hatches. After that it's impossible to walk in the forest without being bothered by blood sucking pests. (Until well into winter, that is.) Here she is, at the point she don't dare to pass, not even with company.
-
Alea the Black Cat was adamant I'd follow her on a hike. As usual we ended up meandering along the steep side of the old esker behind my house, and I'm pretty sure she wanted to show me something. But when we arrived at the spot it was empty. Still don't know what it was, and at this place - close to the bog and a possible old sacrficial site - it could be anything. We're safely back at home now, one tiny adventure richer.
-
Sorry, no C-drama comments today - she slept on my right hand the entire episode.

Are you sure you want to get up? This bed is very warm and it's a sleepy cat in it...
-
*sigh* Already the ancient Egyptians knew this was a productivity hamper, gave up, and made them gods.
-
She's applying the pressure of 1000 cat tonnes to keep me in bed.
-
I am Allowed To Pet her, and am _almost_ forgiven someone used the vacuum cleaner on a Caturday.
-
Guess who's releasing nappions _and_ snoozones like crazy...
-
Long, long cat told me it's not time to leave, so I'm giving her a few extra minutes in bed.
-
Me: I was up way too long last night. How about a sleep i...
Alea the Black Cat: _Absolutely not!_
-
Me: Pumkin, I'm sorry but _really_ need to leave the bed!
Alea the Black Cat: NooOOOoooOoo!
Me: It's _urgent_!

Yes. Yes, I am watching Mysterious Lotus Casebook, but _someone_ decided she needed a pillow more than I need writing toots.

She came in, lodged a formal complaint against the weather by rubbing against my leg, stayed in long enough to get warm and dry, and went out again.
-
It looks like she defeated one pig, one anchylosaur (under the duvet), one stegosaur, and one t-rex to get the best napping spot in bed. No other explanation needed.

-12°C/10.4°F outside. I don't blame Alea the Black Cat one bit for rushing in and plant herself in the bird watch window. By the look of it she made her morning routine as quick as possible*, and tried to phase through the door while waiting for me to open. I'd gladly stay inside myself, but I need to dig out the trash bin and haul it down to the road. BrrrRRRrrRRRrrr...
(*She does have litterboxes, but outdoors is best apparently)
-
It's -10°C* outdoors. This lady went out for a short while, came back in, inspected the litterboxes, and went to sleep in her favourite bed.
(*14°F)

DANG IT! GOT THE _BEST_ ANGLE OF HER TAKING A BATH WITH HER HIND LEG BEHIND THE NECK, AND WHILE THE CAMERA FOCUSED SHE CHANGED POSITION!

"Want to get up, pumpkin?"
