Movie TV Tech Geeks #TV #SouthKorea #AlchemyofSouls #HotelDelLuna 8 Must-Watch K-Dramas For Romantasy Fans http://dlvr.it/TSV8wh

I finished #AlchemyOfSouls, and it’s absolutely fantastic! I loved every single episode for the great mix of fantasy, magic, romance, and suspense.
Locations, interiors, dresses, and scene objects are also finely made, making the whole story fascinating and beautiful. Special effects are also stunning!
Along with Hotel Del Luna, Alchemy of Souls is my favorite “fantasy” #Kdrama. All lovers of #Kdramas should watch it. The only exception is if you really hate fantasy and/or magic and/or combat.

Yesterday, I watched the 9th and penultimate episode of #AlchemyOfSouls part 2. But honestly, I didn’t understand the ending. In the last scene, Cho-Yeon/Dang-Gu/Sang-Ho were crying in front of some coffins .... of who?? I felt like I missed something.
But perhaps (and hopefully) everything will be clearer in the last episode that I will watch this evening! 👍 😉 -

I’ve finished the first part of #AlchemyOfSouls! Episode 20 was undoubtedly dramatic, shocking, and also surprising (especially for the last scene). So, yesterday I started watching the second part because I was so curious and excited.
In part 2, the story/context has changed quite a bit, and many characters have changed their behavior and appearance as well (dress, hair, etc.). Fortunately, there is still the character of the Maidservant Kim Do-Joo! 🥰

I have been watching #AlchemyOfSouls over the last weeks (I am up to ep 17), and it’s absolutely fabulous, with a great mix of action, magic, suspense, and mystery. 👍
I just have one curiosity. There are various specific words in dialogues, such as “Gwanju”, “Danju”, “Gwigu”, etc. Do these words have a real meaning in Korean? Or are they just cute/cool words? 🤔 -
Today, two new #Kdramas start on #Netflix: #CanThisLoveBeTranslated and #NoTailToTell. I am much more interested in the first than the second. Anyway, I will also try to watch the second one (probably later) to see if it's interesting.
Tomorrow, #UndercoverMissHong also starts on Netflix, and this might be interesting.I'm literally overwhelmed by so many K-dramas! And I am still watching #AlchemyOfSouls, which is super fantastic!

Want to know which is my favorite character (and actress) in #Kdrama #AlchemyOfSouls? It's the Maidservant Kim Do-Joo. This graceful actress is just 1 year younger than me! 🤩 😊

@KoreanPassion Alchemy Of Souls is definitely a #kdrama to watch! After thrilling first episodes I was a bit disappointed by how season 1 evolved. Season 2 was more enjoyable and clearly ventured into more enlightening explanations.
So my advice would be to watch it until the end, even if you think it loses mojo.

Since I've caught up on Pro Bono and have to wait for the new episodes (the next one is tomorrow), I decided to start a new #Kdrama. So, yesterday I watched the first episode of #AlchemyOfSouls.
And .... whoooaaaaaaa!!! It's super fascinating, mysterious, engaging, and full of action and magic!! 😎I noticed it's rather long, with 2 parts totaling 20+10 episodes. I think it will keep me good company for the whole month (probably more, alternating Pro Bono and then Can This Love Be Translated?).

Am watching “Alchemy of Souls” 🌸 I know that I am years late, but haven’t been willing to subscribe to Netflix before. Now I have caved for a while and intend to catch up on some dramas that are only there.
I normally prefer Cdrama but this Kdrama has nice world-building and some fun interactions between characters. Look forward to seeing where it all lead.

I do love Jung So Min & was *very* disappointed in 2 because of that, but my watch party friends told me to hold on & I was very satisfied with the way things turned out.

I thought it perfect, but I watched with a watch party & that sucks up some time, so I'm sure my viewing experience was different.

I'm already on ep 11 and once again it's clear that she will end up with the ML I don't root for.
As a human being he's definitely improved since the first episodes, but if it weren't for the FL character I would have dropped the whole thing.Still I am not sure I like where the plot is heading. If from a scary assassin she becomes the maid in distress, I will be extremely disappointed.
Also the mages may have powers but they seem to be a bit slow to catch up.

What's something about a #kdrama or #cdrama that you couldn't move on from? For me, I wanted to see the all-powerful Naksu in S2 of #AlchemyOfSouls, yet we never got it 😭

Drama Recs Challenge
Day 18: Must-Watch Fantasy
Not really being into the fantasy genre in kdrama-land I'm going to be lazy today and just go with, you guessed it: Alchemy of Souls - Entertaining, could fit into the "all the tropes" category, funny. It's also forever staring at you on the Netflix home screen if the algo gets a whif of kdrama interest :blobcatgiggle:

@hanktank61 It's also possible to watch it again! They did an exceptional job of world-building in that show. Very few productions have the budget to create a complete alternate reality like that.
