Nowości z krainy gruzu.
Po pierwsze, Česky Satan ożył. Dotarła czeska karta O2, i odpalił się bez... no dobra, nie bez problemów. Okazało się, że współczesne baterie nie są do końca kompatybilne ze starymi stykami. Musiałem podłożyć kawałek folii aluminiowej, ale zanim zrozumiałem, co jest problemem, przeżyłem chwile grozy. Na zdjęciach widać całość dłubaniny - moje kulawe lutowanie, dosztukowany styk, podkładkę z gąbki i samą folię (od lewej strony na dole).

Po drugie, gruzolandia ma nowego lokatora. Nokia X2-00. Ale kupiona raczej z rozsądku niż miłości, bo pomyślałem, że poużywam sobie jakiegoś klawiszowca do rozmów i SMS-ów na co dzień, a smartfona zostawię do internetu. X2 to ostatnie podrygi systemu S40, potem już było nowocześnie i nudno. Ta jest jeszcze całkiem estetyczna, ma blufiuta, czyta karty SD (może robić za odtwarzacz empetrójek) i aparat o pół klasy lepszy od ziemniaka, co jak na Nokię jest osiągnięciem. Będę dawał znać, jak się sprawuje - w ogóle zacząłem poważniej myśleć o przeniesieniu działu elektrogruzu na jakiś samodzielny blog (dzięki za sugestie).

Chyba na razie osiągnąłem masę krytyczną - mam niemal wszystko, co chciałem. Teraz czas pozbyć się tych, które się nie sprawdziły. #retrotech #nekrotechnika #alcatel #nokia #gruzoland #komórka #retrophone #diy

Nowości z krainy gruzu. Prezentowana wcześniej Nokia 1110 dostała nową obudowę od 2310 - przypadkiem przeczytałem, że pasują, a w zamawianej za bezcen ostatniej paczce martwiaków trafiła się taka oto niebieska w ładnym stanie. Dużo bardziej mi się podoba niż oryginalny szary plastik.

Dawca jest częściowo martwy, jakieś oznaki życia daje, ale ma problem z ekranem. Nie zależało mi na tym modelu, więc nie będę się nim zajmował.

I przypadkiem, nawet niedawno po tym, jak pisałem o komórkach na baterie paluszki, dorwałem za kolejny bezcen Alcatela One Touch Max (wspominałem wtedy, że OT w ogóle są rzadkie i albo pierońsko drogie, albo zgruzowane ponad sens naprawy). A tu proszę.

Niestety, bateria się wylała i kwas zeżarł jeden styk od zasilania. Akurat TEN, który miał znaczenie przy zasilaniu paluszkami. Gniazda nie dało się wylutować ani wyjąć, więc cały wczorajszy wieczór dokonywałem cudów zręczności, usiłując dosztukować brakujący styk z kawałka taniej sondy od multimetru i nóżki od opornika i polutować to z kikutem styku na płytce.

Ale w końcu się udało i sposób, w jaki zostałem powitany, wynagrodził mi cały trud :D Możecie go zobaczyć na zdjęciu.

Niestety, jest problem. Telefon ma simlock na czeską sieć. Ściągnięcie go po 27 latach od daty produkcji jest niemożliwe, nie ma już ani kabli do połączenia z PC, ani software'u (do Nokii się jeszcze znajdzie). Chyba najprościej będzie kupić czeską kartę na alledrogo i doładowywać co jakiś czas, nie planuję go jakoś bardzo intensywnie używać.

I bought an #Android 4.3 tablet (#Alcatel onetouch, 18 £). Sure it is outdated but is sufficient. I found several great apps via #fdroid and transferred them via Bluetooth (saved as txt) from my current phone to the old tablet (tablet certificate expired, need to update this). Is there any resource to find more apps in the meantime? I looked at #izzyondroid a bit.

What a find. This billboard contains a secret 20+ years old time capsule on its back. It is only faintly visible at the back of the billboard that is covered by a group of trees. The ad is mirrored since it was initially displayed facing one of the main boulevards in Varna, Bulgaria.

The Alcatel One Touch 511 came out around 2002. Someone surely has one of those with battery still at 10%.

I miss dumb phones.

It's funny because I got this phone from a friend here in Mexico who got it for free from his phone company. He didn't need it because he plays Pokemon Go on a much more powerful one.

My phone has been getting weird notifications for some app I never installed. Turns out the phone maker - Alcatel / TCL - silently and forcefully installed a notification app during a firmware update, with no way to turn it off. And no web searches mention this annoying crap anywhere.

They spam me at least three times a week with this garbage.

There is such an appearance of choice on shelves. A friend told us tecenty that #Alcatel, who make a #Telstra range here, use a CPU called #MediaTek which is hostile to #FOSS.

Its sad to see the #fosstility in the world.

If and only if #Librem5 are #closedSource, what about #Microsoft, don't they :heart: #openSource?
