We need a social history of #Alboland #Marrickville through its street life and food. When I lived here as a child of immigrants it was older Greek Men idling on the streets with Greek coffees and many deliciously smelly delis, when I lived here as an adult it was queues for Banh Mi's and some of the city's best Vietnamese food. Now, as a visitor, the children of the Mosman 4WD visitors from the past have taken hold, pushed housing prices up astronomically, and use cafes as creches for their own kids while a constant stream of visitors buy freshly roasted coffee beans or sourdough loaves. #Changes
