I'm looking for the 1993 #movie #Knights on #DvD. Tried a #torrent but the movie was all in French dubbing. Googled but all the sites that claim to sell it if you look closely you'll see that the description of the DVDs they are selling do not match the actual movie that they claim to be selling.

"Nemesis" is a 1992 Albert Pyun CyberPunk classic.
The special effects are still alright and hold up, CyberPunk themes are heavy, the plot is largely intact with minimal problems, but the acting is - serviceable.
However, the action is spectacular as you can see in the video here:

Zapowiadałem, zapowiadałem i w końcu słowo cyfrą się stało. Na youtube'owym kanale Pora Imperatora wylądowała właśnie nasza rozmowa o filmie "Cyborg" z 1989 roku w reżyserii Alberta Pyuna.
Przegadaliśmy ponad dwie godziny, zbliżając się do zdublowania czasu projekcji "Cyborga" (który w wersji kinowej trwa 86 minut), ale było sporo rzeczy do omówienia, między innymi w kontekście produkcji tego filmu i wczesnych pomysłów na to, czym miał być.
Zachęcam do rzucenia okiem i uchem.
Na początku trochę bebłam, ale nie zrażajcie się tym – później jest lepiej, a rozmówcy podnoszą poziom rozmowy.

W "Cyborgu" (1989, Albert Pyun) lubię między innymi to, że w byciu postapokaliptycznym westernem, nie poprzestaje tylko na ogólnych skojarzeniach z westernowością, lecz dość ostentacyjnie parafrazuje "Pewnego razu na Dzikim Zachodzie" ("C'era una volta il West" aka "Once Upon a Time in the West", 1968, Sergio Leone).

Every time someone asks me what movie I think needs to be remade, I almost always suggest Albert Pyun's Radioactive Dreams (1985) - a sci-fi action comedy with a great premise, a splendid poster, and an execution which really doesn't do right by either.
The film is OOP on physical media and doesn't seem to be streaming anywhere. At least, not officially.

Just got back from #AlamoDraftHouse showing of Radioactive Dreams and this has shot to the top of Pyun’s filmography for me (about equal to Nemesis). It’s Streets of Fire crossed with Fallout 3 filled with nonstop, energetic homages to The Warriors, Bladerunner, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, Road Warrior and countless others. Hard to believe he made a world so colorful and wild with just a few cleverly dressed alleys and cheap industrial space. #AlbertPyun

The recent death of prolific B-movie director Albert Pyun reminded me of the strangest thing in his filmography. Road to Hell (2013) is an unofficial sequel to Walter Hill's cult favourite Streets of Fire - with Michael Pare and Deborah Van Valkenburgh, reprising their roles.
Hill's film has gorgeous cinematography and incredible production design work. Pyun's does not have such things, relying on heavy use of green screens.
