Please say hello to Artemis (Arti for short). She's come to us from a friend, who sadly can no longer keep her as his new step daughter is allergic. She's super sweet, maybe a little bit scared.
Nyusha doesn't like her much yet, whereas Albee doesn't really care, so long as he still gets tummy strokes on demand!

Nyusha's favourite spot beside the pillows wasn't available, because her human was sitting in bed reading. So she settled down beside Albee instead – and there was no drama! Normally they don't like sleeping together, but they made an exception this weekend.

Nyusha disappeared for 36 hours and was found perfectly healthy under a car on the ground floor. We live on the 5th floor!
She's happy to be home, though Albee isn't so sure. He was just getting used to having the place to himself again.

We properly introduced #AlbeeTheCat and #NyushaTheCat for the first time today. Although they were aware of each other before, they hadn't had more than a few seconds together.
So today, we allowed Nyusha out for 5-10 mins every hour, while Albee looked on sceptically. But by 4pm, they were both together in the same room for much longer. Not yet friends, but Albee's definitely not nearly as upset by his territory being intruded on.

The vet saw evidence of fleas on Nyusha, so gave her some stuff on her neck. All good. But he didn't have any more for Albee.
I went to a different vet who sold me different stuff. It's awful. Absolutely stinks. Albee has been washing himself almost constantly since last night to get rid of it.
Never buy "Advantage" if you don't want your cat to hate you and everything they touch for the next 48 hours!
