Anche nuovo: From today, the evening Regionale Veloce service from #Milano 20:25 🇮🇹 to #Alassio 23:59 has been extended to #Ventimiglia 00:50 on Fridays and Saturdays, creating a year-round direct regional service Milano-Ventimiglia.
Until now, direct regional services ran only during the summer period ('Treni del Mare'). The train departs from Milano C.le 20 min later than the last direct IC service of the day with a journey time ~30 min longer.

Un utile bignami. Mentre il sindaco di #Alassio (dove ci sono i lidi più cari d'Italia) ha provato ad eliminare una delle poche non a pagamento col pretesto che ci sono state 2 risse ad agosto. Boarding a #Trenitalia 🇮🇹 #InterCity at #Alassio, for #Milano. There is no train restaurant and the bar-buffet counter (installed a few years ago in what used to be a @diningcar for #TEE or #Rapido services) has recently been replaced by a vending machine … which is broken.
No coffee. 🤌

Beautiful #Alassio 🇮🇹 train station on the #Ventimiglia to #Genova railway line: it keeps many of its traditional design elements and
the “Bar della Stazione” ☕️ is still there.
