My first opportunity to see it in person, so of course I dropped everything at work and headed for the airport.

Well that’s embarrassing. Alaska Airlines (whom I like flying with because they are generally awesome) had an IT outage yesterday that caused hundreds of flights to be delayed.
With all those people delayed, of course it rippled into today. My flight home is now delayed two hours. I get this text just now from Alaska Air apologizing for the delay and letting me know about the IT Outage.
