"Thank Heaven for Little Girls" is a 1957 song written by #AlanJayLerner and #FrederickLoewe and associated with #MauriceChevalier, its original performer. It opened and closed the 1958 film #Gigi. #AlfredDrake performed the song in the 1973 Broadway stage production of Gigi, and in the 2015 revival, it was sung as a duet between #VictoriaClark and #DeeHoty. The Chevalier version is often regarded as the definitive version of the song; he recorded it in 1958. In 2004.

"I Could Have Danced All Night" is a song from the #musical #MyFairLady, with music written by #FrederickLoewe and lyrics by #AlanJayLerner, published in 1956. The song is sung by the musical's heroine, #ElizaDoolittle, expressing her exhilaration and excitement after an impromptu dance with her tutor, Henry Higgins, in the small hours of the morning.
