Maria Schrader ist fast auf den Tag genauso alt wie ich und uns als Schauspielerin seit mehr als drei Jahrzehnten wohlbekannt und sehr gut beschäftigt im europäischen Theater- und Filmbetrieb. Dass wir sie inzwischen ebenfalls als Regisseurin kennenlernen durften, mag auch ein Glücksfall für sie persönlich sein. In jedem Fall ist es unser großer Gewinn!

We have been watching "Humans" (2015), the UK remake of the Swedish "Äkta människor" (2012, "[Real Humans]"), and we're just about coming up on the last episode.
The Swedish one was surprisingly well-produced for a Swedish sci-fi, but the UK one is simply Very Good Sci-Fi and Very Good TV.
I can absolutely understand if people appreciate the atmosphere of the Swedish one, but generally I'd say watch the UK one first. If you liked that one *and* you like Scandinavian TV, watch the Swedish one after that.

Just finished watching #ÄktaMänniskor season 2 from 2014.
The series has its flaws, but is probably the best sci-fi Swedish Television has ever produced, and season 2 really raised all the interesting philosophical issues and conflicts. There was a lot ramping up for season 3 and it's too bad it never came to pass.
I hear the UK Channel 4 #HumansTVSeries received three seasons ("series"), which were well received by critics but was then canceled due to insufficient ratings. I'm interested to see that next. It's not the same stories and characters, just the same concepts.
There was also a Chinese version produced by Tencent, I haven't looked into how that did.
