I’ve worked a bit more on it since and am happy with how it’s coming along but also feel like I’m losing a bit of the cutesy feel of my first sketch.

Maybe I should develop a “cutesy” style between chibi and “normal” or something that would encourage me to take more risks that’s a bit quicker.

We’ll see how I feel when I draw her face in the refined sketch 😅

I think I’m gonna try to paint this in Procreate as well. It’s been fun to mess around with and I think the simpler UI pushes me to focus more on learning to draw rather than learning the program (although every illustration I’ve made I learn how to navigate CSP better and can be pretty quick with it now). I don’t think I’ll switch to Procreate only as the ergonomics of using a screenless tablet on my PC are too nice to give up though and I like CSP too 😅. #akarilearnstodraw

I‘ve still been messing around drawing on an iPad and made this in Procreate. It’s been fun being able to sketch while looking at what I’m drawing directly 😅.

I’m trying to be a bit less of a perfectionist to learn more . I’ve relied on the 3d models in ClipStudio quite a bit in the past but I did this completely freehand and am pretty happy with it 🙏🥺 #akarilearnstodraw
