One thing I appreciate about #AJR is the community makes creative edits and compilations of their music videos, sometimes even full songs, and the band seems supportive.

From a song construction angle, Don’t Throw Out My Legos is one of my favorite #AJR songs. I love the way they use samples to build the melody.
It’s also nostalgic for me - I went through this exact emotional process when I moved out at 20. Had a giant workshop toolbox filled with legos, because my dad was a tool & die maker all his life.
Then my mom turned into a racist shitbag. When they retired to northern Idaho, I did finally tell them to just throw out my legos.
