Targi CES 2026 zapowiadają się jako rok, w którym AI trafi dosłownie wszędzie – nawet do obudowy wyświetlacza.
LG prezentuje nową linię UltraGear evo, która ma rozwiązać odwieczny problem graczy: jak grać w wysokiej rozdzielczości, gdy komputer „nie wyrabia” z klatkarzem? Odpowiedzią ma być procesor zaszyty w monitorze.
LG otwiera rok 2026 premierą nowej marki UltraGear evo. Koreańczycy stawiają sprawę jasno: przyszłość to rozdzielczość 5K i wyższa. Ponieważ jednak generowanie grafiki w takiej jakości wciąż dławi większość kart graficznych, inżynierowie LG postanowili przenieść część obliczeń z peceta bezpośrednio do monitora.
AI Upscaling: DLSS wbudowany w ekran?
Najciekawszą funkcją w nowych flagowcach (modele 39GX950B i 27GM950B) jest wbudowany układ odpowiedzialny za AI Upscaling. Zasada działania przypomina to, co znamy z technologii DLSS czy FSR, ale dzieje się niezależnie od karty graficznej. Monitor przyjmuje obraz w niższej rozdzielczości i przy użyciu algorytmów uczenia maszynowego skaluje go do niemal-natywnego 5K. Według LG pozwala to cieszyć się ostrością obrazu 5K bez konieczności inwestowania w najdroższe GPU na rynku. Oprócz skalowania, AI ma też optymalizować sceny i dźwięk w czasie rzeczywistym.
Trzy nowości na start
Rodzina UltraGear evo debiutuje w trzech wariantach, z których każdy celuje w innego gracza:
- 39GX950B (OLED): to propozycja dla fanów immersji. 39-calowy, ultrapanoramiczny panel OLED o rozdzielczości 5K2K (5120 x 2160). To tutaj technologia skalowania AI ma największe pole do popisu.
- 27GM950B (MiniLED): ciekawy zwrot akcji – w rozmiarze 27 cali LG stawia na nową generację MiniLED, a nie OLED. Ekran oferuje klasyczne proporcje 16:9, rozdzielczość 5K i odświeżanie, które powinno zadowolić wymagających graczy (szczegóły wkrótce).
- 52G930B (OLED): gigant dla tych, dla których 39 cali to za mało. 52-calowy potwór o rozdzielczości 5K2K.
720 Hz dla e-sportowców
Poza serią „evo”, LG pokazało też coś dla graczy turniejowych, dla których liczy się tylko szybkość. Model UltraGear GX7 (27GX790B) to 27-calowy OLED QHD, który w standardzie oferuje odświeżanie 540 Hz. Jeśli to za mało, monitor posiada funkcję „Dual Mode”. Po przełączeniu rozdzielczości na HD, matryca przyspiesza do 720 Hz. To wartości, przy których ludzkie oko przestaje nadążać za technologią.
