    I feel that the term #aislop for AI-generated text is a bit too gentle. I much prefer the term #aisludge with its connotations of toxicity and industrial waste.

    There is a story about how the Human Apocalypse could occur with a sufficiently advanced Robot and one command "Make Paperclips".

    This story is now happening, but instead of a Manufacturing Robot it's A.I. / LLM's and the command was "Copy everything and slightly iterate".

    And now the world is slowly being consumed by A.I. and LLM Sludge.
