Leftovers

I finished taking out the trash.

I was over in Suno cleaning up some files and deleting my trash. I found a couple of songs that I kept and listened to again, then trashed them. I did keep one I had made early into this journey and had never released it. It was a learning curve that I thought I fell down on. After playing it today I thought what the hell, I’ll put it on the dial as one I’ll never cover but will add it to the list.

Sometimes

Late in the night it happens

I had a feeling sweep over me late tonight so I wrote this down. Then I took it over to Suno to hear it before the sound left my head. I’m not good enough to use the DAW yet.

Sometimes I get lonely
without being blue
Life is usually peaceful
always learning something new

My aching heart is searching
for a lady to love again
To share the joy of living
Of walking hand in hand

It's in these quiet moments
when these feelings arrive
Like something is calling
From somewhere deep inside

The moment is always fleeting
a brief thought shoots on by
My mind continues to linger
On the simple reason of why

I have walled up my heart
From the hurt done in the past
And moved on in my journey
Knowing illusions of love never last

Isn't it obvious that choosing to harm a company with statements you know to be #harmful and #false is #malicious? One more of Reykjavík's finest. To be honest, I can't remember where I saw this one. I've a feeling it was a little south of Laugavegur, down a side street. It's definitely a beautiful piece of work.
