  1. Most Powerful Airport Solar Carport Canopies in the U.S.

Listed below are the most powerful solar arrays employed to date as parking canopies at airports across the United States. Such canopies produce electricity from solar panels that are elevated above parking spaces on canopy-like structures. They can be placed in ground parking lots, in rental car lots, or on the top floor of a multi-level parking garage.

The energy produced by these solar installations helps the airport offset its electricity costs. The solar canopies also have the benefit of shielding the vehicles parked under them from intense sunlight and certain forms inclement weather.

As the list also shows, solar carport canopies at airports are no longer just a southern or western geographical phenomenon either. The largest such facility in the nation will be opening later this year at New York’s Kennedy International Airport. Newark, Hartford, Indianapolis, Dulles, Evansville, Saginaw, Rochester (MN), Fort Wayne, Manchester, Appleton, and the Quad Cities are among those northern city airports that have employed or are adding solar carport canopies.

The list will be updated as solar canopy systems at airports are added and/or expanded.

I may now not be able to amend the #AirportParking I booked. I don't have that car registration anymore as it's been sold.

And it states on the e-Mail confirmation: no amendments, no cancellations.
Could be £86 pissed down the drain.

And no, this ISN'T good enough,. It's daylight robbery.
