  1. AI claims this thing rejuvenates your skin and builds muscle mass. Once a day. Sounds legit. Anyone brave enough to confirm? youtube.com/watch?v=8WjqM0rsQxo

  2. That seems like a very desperate move, apparently they are running out of money.

So, if you invest a lot of money now, you need to be sure Alphabet will still exist in a century. If they need money this urgently today, question is if they still exist in 5 years though. They might go down when the AI bubble bursts.

Unlikely? That's also what people thought of Lehman Brothers...

"AI is now a fundamental part of how we work," Liuson wrote. "Just like collaboration, data-driven thinking, and effective communication, using AI is no longer optional
    — it's core to every role and every level."

  4. You can now ask #CoPilot to show your open pull requests on #GitHub 🤦‍♂️

Any guesses as to how much more energy this consumes as opposed to just clicking on "Pull Requests" in the personal link menu?

  6. CW: Rant about Microsoft telling Kafka how to write.

So apparently, if you are having the function "Run the spelling and grammar checker" in MS Office enabled, it doesn't just only check your spelling and grammar, as it should and claims, anymore. It now (maybe already for a while, never noticed it before) also interprets your texts!

Yes, Microsoft (MS) seems to have the impression to not just know how to spell words correctly or let you know, when forgetting to punctuate.

Noooo, they now even pretend to know (better than yourself!) the meaning and the recipients of your writings.

Context -> MS highlighted a sentence in a text of mine, with the following remark: "More concise language would be clearer for your reader."

    What the...!?!! 😡🤮

Imagine Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Schiller, von Bingen, Frisch, Eco, Suttner, Sartre, Shakespeare, Beauvoir or Kafka - you get where I am going - having written all their thoughts, literature, philosophies and proses with MS Word and would have thought, "well now that MS is telling me I really should consider this and revise my work".

We all would be standing back in caves right now and trying to make fire!

Okay I admit, maybe those bigger religious scripts could have partly benefited from this. 😉

Beside my last ironic remark, I absolutely do not think this is where our society should be heading towards!
