It's actually fascinating watching #Aigen create an image frame by frame.
It's like reading tealeaves.Say you asked for a cat, the first frame is just a random diffusion noise.
With each frame, the AI tries to shoehorn a cat into the noise.
By about frame 15 it starts to look like a cat.The helpful diagram is describing the first stage, training.
Or as Picasso said;

J'apprends à sa lecture par exemple qu'Anthropic avait un projet baptisé "Panama" tout à fait "années 2000s" de scan destructif de livres, à la Google du bon vieux temps du "potentiel computationnel" (Guedon) et du "capitalisme linguistique" (Kaplan).

The false idea peddled by BigTech of a supposed army of robots that will do our shitty physical jobs is about as energy-efficient as a flying car. The jobs that will actually be replaced are all those where the value of the work can be collected in data. The goal was to eliminate the middle class, a shift from information to physical labor, especially considering the decline in fuel after peak oil in 2016, combined with the exponential energy demands of #AIgen, AI, blockchain...(Jevons' paradox)

Surprise, surprise! OpenAI is now selling Sora credits for video gens, $4 for 10. And those 'free' generations? They're going to dwindle. Apparently, GPUs don't grow on trees... unless you're training a model on tree images, I guess.
The 'cameo' monetization strategy, despite lawsuits, is a bold move. Are we ready for the era of paid pixels, or is this just another step towards the inevitable 'AI tax'?

On a slightly more interesting note, I also gave it a picture where it technically couldn't do much wrong, asking it to circle the IC. And there it actually did work as one would hope, with the slight caveat that it also changed the text on the IC (at least in an obvious way).
Not very helpful at all, but certainly interesting to see from a technical perspective.

Rofl. 😂 I was curious and asked a slopmachine to "circle the MOSFET and/or inductor in this photo for me". After all they are supposed to now be able to merely edit given pictures, right?
The result is beautiful. It… "circled" it. It is in fact now a circle. This machine is a shitposter.
