Many of us in the #FreeSoftware / #FOSS / #FLOSS communities [^1] probably spent Saturday processing the #Debian project's recent General Resolution debates and vote re: LLM usage [^2]

If you're in the #NoAI camp the result is likely ... concerning, to say the least - no acknowledgement of the many negative externalities, no disclosure requirement... I could go on but that's not the point of this post.

This might be a lost battle against #ensloppification - but the fight is not over! Let's give ourselves the time to rest and reflect.

Whether we end up migrating to projects (or forges) more aligned with our values, or work on improving disclosure standards so people can more easily find, use, and support #AIfree projects - we could use some #SelfCare.

I guess my #NoAIFriday is extended to #NoAIWeekend, starting... this early sleepless Sunday.

Если в глаза бросаются типичные глагольные связки, лишние вводные слова и пустые обобщения в конце абзацев — вкладка в браузере закрывается автоматически. Читать продукт жизнедеятельности большой языковой модели нет никакого желания. Похоже, мое личное раздражение идет в русле массового тренда. Исследования Gartner показывают : половина потребителей в США выбирают бренды, которые полностью отказались от генеративного ИИ в коммуникациях. А 61% пользователей требуют от разработчиков софта, чтобы те добавили функцию принудительного отключения любых интеллектуальных ассистентов в интерфейсах. В индустрии все громче звучит запрос на категорию AI-Free. Забегая вперед: этот сдвиг вызван перенасыщением рынка низкокачественным контентом и провалом первых коммерческих внедрений. Ярлык «AI» или «AI-Free» скорее говорит о том, как бренд хочет себя подать, чем о реальных свойствах продукта. Попробуем разобрать, откуда все пошло, как проявляется сейчас и куда может привести.

Was fehlt, ist ein »AI free«-Kennzeichen.

Edit: Es besteht keine Pflicht, diese Kennzeichen zu nutzen.
