I used to feel uneasy about AI‑generated content.
It seemed artificial, lacking the human touch, and I feared it wouldn’t be taken seriously.But over time, I realized:AI generation is a tool, not a threat.Its value depends on how we use it — for ideas, structure, and inspiration.The human voice, experience, and unique style remain at the core, turning text into something meaningful.Now, instead of worrying, I see it as an opportunity — to work faster, explore new perspectives, and amplify creativity.

“Could Ryan Hendler be Australia’s most productive #employee? Each night Hendler and his colleagues at me&u, the QR code-based #hospitality ordering #app, assign their #AITools up to 30 complex, iterative #coding tasks, ranging from new features to #bug fixes.

Because these tasks take hours to compute, Hendler, a 26-year-old #AIEngineer, realised it was far more productive to let AI continue his workday while he slept, rather than waiting around for execution during the day.

Working under the chief executive #KimTeo, Hendler has helped catapult me&u into the #AIEra, fully integrating #Claude, #ChatGPT and bespoke AI products into a 24/7 workflow.

And at one point earlier this year, he was ChatGPT Codex’s 12th most prolific individual user worldwide by #token usage, and was spotlighted by ChatGPT owner OpenAI on LinkedIn for his 24-hour work hack.

But the AI wasn’t always up for the night shift. Hendler says the team originally had to explicitly instruct it to keep working through the night with prompts such as “please do not stop until you’ve done all the tasks” or “my boss will be angry if you stop before it finishes”.”

I’ll re-read this in 5 years and laugh. The founder is smart, but not technical. The engineer is responsible for more of the codebase than they can handle and is a cost centre. The market is exposed to consumer spending and discretional spending. 🤣☺️
