Very interesting piece by @[email protected] (or should I tag @[email protected]…?) on #AICinema. As someone who designs curricula for and teaches filmmakers I am very unsure of the impact this will have on narrative cinema. I tend to think it will be pretty niche, the way 360 and VR cinema seem to be for now (frustratingly, as I have hopes for both), but with the pace of development, I wonder how much longer before someone creates an AI-generated piece that looks like live action filmmaking.
