AI might not be taking jobs at the moment — but many people already fear it.
In our new preprint (experiment + large panel study), we examine why.
Drawing on Integrated Fear Acquisition Theory and the Technology Acceptance Model, we show that simply framing AI as being “in control” increases job replacement anxiety — especially when AI is seen as highly useful (ease of use didn’t matter).

Of course, it does jack shit for #Mechahitler, the biggest #ChatGPT and pretty much all the other models, it's like being told about IDDQD in the 1990s and thinking you are a god in all the games.

The #o3pro (literally just out) performs unremarkably different as a #chatbotWhere it excells brilliantly is in analysis of deeper problems with case specific high context prompt input preload.
So much so,that testers run out of stuff for it to do.While AI antagonists pooh-pooh the idea of #AGI / #ASI my old anxiety of humans obsoleting ourselves returns.
I fear what de-wokified #AI from the oligarch solution for {insert fake problem from Fox News} will be.
