The new amendments to the EU AI Act actually passed the committee stage with flying colours: 84 votes in favour, 7 against and 12 abstentions. That is a pretty impressive consensus.

So if I understand that correctly, recommendation systems on "very large platforms" listed in the SDA will be added to Annex III.
This would essentially classify Twitter, Facebook & Co's algorithms a "high risk" application and be regulated accordingly.
