IIT Kharagpur: My Journey with Motion Sensing AI: Completing the AIoT Hardware Course
Another milestone unlocked! Thrilled to receive recognition from IIT Kharagpur for my efforts in AIoT & Data Science. I have successfully completed the AIoT Hardware: Design and Implementation Course organized by IIT Kharagpur AI4ICPS I Hub Foundation and received a Certificate of Merit for my project on Motion Sensing AI. 🎉
This course has been an incredible learning experience, and I had the opportunity to apply machine learning to real-world sensor data. As part of the coursework, I developed a motion sensing AI system, which I have documented in detail on my GitHub repository.
Project Overview: Motion Sensing AI
The goal of this project was to create an intelligent system that can detect and interpret human motion using sensor-based data. This has applications in health monitoring, surveillance, and human-computer interaction.

✅ Understood AIoT Concepts: Gained a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) and how AI integrates with IoT hardware.
✅ Learned PCB Design & Implementation: Developed skills in circuit design, schematic creation, and PCB layout design for IoT applications.
✅ Gained Hands-on Experience with IoT Hardware: Worked with real-world hardware components, including processor selection, component integration, and embedded system design.
✅ Mastered Embedded Programming: Learned how to program microcontrollers and embedded devices for IoT applications using Python and low-level programming.
✅ Applied Machine Learning to AIoT: Explored Python-based machine learning fundamentals and their applications in motion sensing, predictive analytics, and smart hardware systems.
✅ Developed a Full AIoT Prototype: Designed, implemented, and tested a complete AIoT-based system, combining hardware and AI-driven software.
✅ Implemented a Practical AIoT Project: Applied the acquired skills in a real-world AIoT project, reinforcing learning through hands-on experimentation.
I am incredibly grateful to IIT Kharagpur for this opportunity. Special thanks to faculties Prof. Sourabh Mahapatra, Prof. Abhra Majumder sir and Prof. Deepak Verma. The knowledge gained has been invaluable, and I am excited to continue my journey in AI and IoT applications.
