I just found an awesome dub mix on youtube and it turned out to be AI generated. The music was really fucking good (well, I only listened to parts of the first track to be fair but it s-l-a-p-p-e-d) and I want to hear more of that type of dub, but I'm not gonna listen to some damn AI. For several reasons.
I hate this timeline.

One thing I've noticed is that Suno preserves the general shape and sound of a track across generations, so long as you're only tweaking things a bit.

If you add a new verse that you hope retains everything else? Doesn't really work.

Also it is simpy incapable of 7/4 or any nonstandard time signature.

And I've noticed it really likes to noodle. So many interludes.

The band’s label has been fighting to remove these tracks, with varying degrees of success. As remixes proliferated over the past week, Stick Figure’s team has frantically sent copyright takedown notices and contacted all the major streamers, even reaching out to the individual account owners posting remixes. Some of the tracks have been pulled—Spotify has taken down all of the tracks requested, and that viral YouTube video has been removed, too—but others remain. When contacted by the label, one of the remix purveyors insisted that the song was a cover and offered to share some of the royalties, but the Stick Figure team sees these tracks as remixes that do not properly credit or compensate the band. “It’s essentially a game of whack-a-mole,” says Adam Gross, president of the band’s label, Ineffable Records.

It’s damn sure not when I first wake up. I need the boost of the black bean beauty to bolster the brain. The first two-three cups of jolting java jumpstarts the process. While this is happening I am going through the news, e-mails and reader trying to wake up.

My first probity of productivity is usually between cups four and six when I tackle the challenges of mixing the prompts into something irrational.

After that the day kicks into high gear and well, wait a minute…here lately this is where I toss a imangery coin and go back to sleep, speaking of which. It is midnight in the mitten so I’m headed off to Dawgy dreamland and will finish this in about five cups from now.

PART TWO

6:20 in the a.m. and I’m back, running on two cups. I skipped reader this morning to dive in this and get it finished. I need to learn sooo much in my DAW that I want to dedicate the morning to it as my mic stand will arrive today and I can start practicing my vocals to see how I sound on my songs.

So with answering the prompts as best as I could I leave you all with happy wishes for a Monday morning march into the wonderful world of WordPress.

Sunday, Suno & Siri

I’m enjoying a relaxing Sunday today and hope you are too.

I started the morning out by cruising through reader. I didn’t feel up to a post so I turned the laptop off and turned the stereo up. I listened to the following three albums while tidying up the dawghouse.

I then checked my email and came back here and looked at your comments and to reply before heading to my DAW to make mistakes and learn. That didn’t happen.

After reading Siri’s comment on ‘Gotta Start Somewhere’ and seeing she subscribed to the other site I have parked waiting on the meter to run out on it I went into poetry mode and ended up in Suno. The following song was made this afternoon and reflects on the friendship we’ve made over the years. It can be found on 103.3.3 on the DM Dial. I hope you enjoy this along with enjoying your Sunday.
