Day 22 of #Arttrober is Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess (or Oh My Goddess, depending on your source), based (*very* loosely) on the Norn Verðandi from Norse mythology.

Long time followers know I'm partial to drawing winged characters, so this was nice.

I watched the anime series some time ago, and enjoyed it well enough as I recall.

Finally, Urd and Lia will resolve to (checks papers) to solve the mystery of...something related to chemistry, I guess. I'm tired, so, uh, sorry I couldn't come up with something funnier for the dialogue. (Urd is an alchemist who deals with potions, Lia has created her own holo tech...)

Shoulda done the lettering and bubbles better but CSP and Photoshop were severely lagging at this point, and I have negative patience right now, oops.

Hullo! I am NAAN and while I usually work as a comicker, I also take the time to archive or ramble about things I find interesting to share! I try to work within my financial limits, so anything archived is just mainly tech-related like a cassette filled with interviews or music that's never been in HQ online! (These are very specific examples for reasons.)

My primary fansite right now is one for Hans von Hammer, better known as #EnemyAce: https://hollenreiter.neocities.org A (justifiably) depressed and brooding WWI ace pilot who only likes talking to a wolf? Sign me up?!

I dabble in other parts of #DCComics fandom, mainly the #TangentComics publishing line. Other fandoms I tend to play in include #Macross, #AhMyGoddess / #OhMyGoddess , #KishinCorps, #TenchiMuyo and the #MagicalGirls genre. I've also posted stuff about #LimbusCompany but I don't talk about it much on here in comparison to the others.

Most of my fandom experience is done "alone," as I always tended to do fandom alone while growing up. (I got on the internet late too.) But I'm active in some of the fandoms above through Discord at times. I'm mainly a lurker but I like seeing what people are into (or seeing if they know the thing :eyes: )

I'm into #linguistics, #comics #history and #design, though you won't see much of those on here, given this is my fandom account. ( boop @naan )

I'm also Puerto Rican straight from the island (though living in the US for (checks notes), wow, 18 yrs!! And by next week I will no longer be in my mid 30s. Oh nooo. -One of the things I must add onto the eventual #AhMyGoddess fansite is a (for now) AMG Discord specific event where a member tried to edit out the harem genre out of the Wikipedia page, and suddenly we found ourselves thrust in a journey of "uh, did you guys fail your library classes or something?" It was very odd!

A cruel goddess' thesis...

Would anyone in #tech or #preservation Fediverse know how to open a Win98/Win95 anime calendar on a Win11 laptop? This is the first old thing that hasn't worked, and googling the warning message tells me I need a 16bit thingeroo to open it. Except programs like https://mendelson.org/otvdm.html spit out a warning that the calendar is 32bit instead :blobfacepalm: :blobcatsadlife:

One of the things I'm most proud of finding is an #OhMyGoddess #AnimeV cassette tape featuring VERY rare archived recordings of the cast and creator talking about songs from the Tokuten-Ou album! I snatched it up the second I saw it, and looking into its history was a lot of fun!
