the first minutes alone give me chills - I enjoyed the character as a kid and did not like Jar Jar Binks as I grew up (and returend to the #Prequels), but never knew what world wide hate it got until the Sequels came out ... and I am very happy that Ahmed Best now get's his Redemption

never thought I would write this:
The Redemption of Jar Jar Binks
"#JarJarBinks became one of the most polarizing figures in cinematic history when he made his debut in #StarWars Episode 1 [...] a six-part journey through the early internet to understand how one of the first-ever online hate campaigns began, and to right what we got so wrong about Jar Jar the first time around."

Ahmed Best got another shot at Star Wars, from Jar Jar to Jedi. Glad they gave him some love and brought him in the main canon. He apparently played this Jedi in short lived online kids game show too.
I had a ball with this week's #TheMandalorian episode. Really awesome seeing #AhmedBest in Jedi mode!

As follow up, I just saw this week’s #themandalorian - and yeah, it was a kick to see #ahmedbest be in the universe and not be fucking annoying and the air battle with the vulture thing was a thrill, but otherwise the episode was inert and emotionally empty. Looking forward to #picard tonight.

"@askywalkerjuice added: 'Ahmed Best coming back to Star Wars after the way the fandom treated him and being the guy who saved Grogu is absolute king behaviour.'"
It warmed my heart yesterday to see a Jedi played by Ahmed Best be the one that saved Grogu from the murderous Order 66 clone troopers. After all the crap he caught for Jar Jar Binks, this was a well-deserved return.
Now, let's do this for Jake Lloyd.
I’m so happy to see after everything #AhmedBest went through, he’s been reintroduced to the #StarWars universe at large in such an important way. Thank you for saving #Grogu and welcome home, Mr. Best. #StarWarsFans #JediMaster #TheForceIsStrongWithThisOne #Mandalorian
Welcome back, #AhmedBest!!!!!
Thrilling, just awesome.
