They've chosen to live in a bubble, and this is why I use the word "irredeemable." They have placed themselves beyond basic truth and reality. What we all can see does not matter to them. As measles sweeps through South Carolina, they're choosing to lie about that, too, and to claim immigrants brought it.

Why did these men assume that a video which clearly showed they murdered Arbery in cold blood would exonerate them? Why do Vance and Trump and DHS assume we'll watch the video of Ross shooting Good in the head and calling her a f*cking b*tch after she has told him she's not mad at him will exonerate Ross —

But because the murderers and their attorney thought everyone would agree that the video exonerated them as the story refused to go away, they gave it to a local station to air. This resulted in their arrest within two days, and then they were convicted by a jury and are now in prison, two for life with no possibility of parole, the other up for parole in 30 years when he's 82.

Richardson says this parallels what happened when three white thugs chased Ahmaud Arbery, a Black jogger, and shot him to death near Brunswick, Georgia, in February 2020. One of the men videotaped this obscene chase and murder. The district attorney claimed the video exonerated the murderers and declined to prosecute.

The three #racist POS who ran down #AhmaudArbery, and executed him with a shotgun are now trying to have their #hateCrime convictions overturned.

"Oh no, we didn't murder him because he was black! We murdered him because we thought he was a criminal!"

... But, they thought he was a criminal because he was black, so...

Part of me hopes they do overturn the conviction right before the election so Ahmaud can get revenge on these racists once again, on a national scale.

Since the #AhmaudArbery lynching video, I have refused to watch any traumatic video showing the murder of a Black person.

But the video coming out of #Memphis...It will pain and disgust me, but I need to be a witness to the inhumanity and violence the police pose to our communities.
