How does one select multiple packages/ software apps while browsing pacseek interface (the ncurses whatever type thing package manager oft used with #ArchLinux #EndeavourOS #GarudaLinux )?

The [ ] checkbox area suggests one might place a checkbox there.

so, you know. ROTFLMAO and it doesn't seem to tell me anything about even TLDR enough to blow-ma-friggin-mind. like Richie Rich, on Adult Swim as a claymation character talking about gold.

@lightweight I thought of this while watching #BuyNow on Netflix last night. At one point, about 40 mins in, Maren Costa describes her #AhaMoment when a friend respectfully challenged her about working at #Amazon: "@marz you know how they treat their workers, and you know how bad it is for the planet. How can you work there?"

Gauge swatch pro tip: if your piece is knit in the round, best to do a gauge swatch in the round if size really matters.

For example, if you have a motif that has a pattern row on round one and a knit row on round two, it's tempting to swatch flat, converting that to pattern row/purl row.

But if your knits and purls have a different tension (and they probably do) then your gauge swatch won't represent the final piece.

This #AhaMoment when doing some #programming on one of my speech #opensource projects.

I was trying to feed audio data from one #rtp stream into a #spechrecognizer. I was optimistic and already configured 2 speech engines.

I was wondering why the data arrived, but the thread to transform the audio data and feed into the recognizer never returned.
The unit test was working, and I finally discovered that a misconfiguration. The RTP thread used engine 2, and the reading happened on engine 1.

Mein #AhaMoment der Woche: Auf Hawaii gibt es Pop-up-Newsrooms. Schöne Idee: (Lokal-)#journalismus geht zum Publikum.

Der Hintergrund: Seit längerem gibt es in den USA Ansätze, Redaktionsstuben fürs Publikum zu öffnen oder in einem Van unterwegs zu arbeiten. Im aktuellen Beispiel werden Lokalredaktionen tageweise in Stadtbüchereien verlegt, um zu zeigen, wie Medien arbeiten und ins Gespräch mit Nutzer:innen zu kommen.

Here we go: Hatte in der #onkomm- Lernagentur einen schönen #Aha-Moment im Brainstorming mit Studierenden, wie man mit Maps (Google, Apple Karten, Strava, Komoot) Traffic für eine Website generieren kann (und das in unserem Fall der Kundin eher empfehlen als eine übliche Social Media-Plattform).
