The next presentation is from Deidre Wheaton from #JacksonState University and member of the Big Data Education Team who described the education collaboration work that the Cluster has done in Mississippi.
Wheaton describes that after establishing collaborative trust between the UVM team and the Jackson State team. With that success the teams redesigned a science teacher training course from the ground up.

A multi-scale study assessing snow albedo variability in mountain terrain.
Using #MODIS satellite data, AVIRIS-NG airborne spectroscopy, and ground-based measurements, they aim to improve the characterization of snow surface properties and albedo in complex environments, addressing limitations in coarse #satellite observations.
