That Petrol Emotion were an Irish band (the aftermath of the Undertones) who happened to form in London with a USian singer in the early 80s.
I had a *huge* crush on the singer, though I'm not queer, on no not at all, no sir. Happily married man me.
Anyway, this somehow seems appropriate today.
