As my dad adjusts to life in long-term care, I’m trying to slow my thoughts, take deep breaths, and focus only on what’s in front of me today.He is safe. He is cared for by skilled people. And he is loved beyond measure. I may not be able to fix everything, but I’ve done the best I can — and that matters.
