    I cannot decide between #Xilinx and #Altera for my first #FPGA project (acceleration of some algorithms in big data analysis and bio informatics). I really like the #Agilex fabric but the software stack of Xilinx seems less painful!

    @smartperson Cool, the Cyclone II is a similar , but I think it has smaller block memories (M4K vs M9K for Cyclone IV E).

    Altera did not develop its smallest FPGA chips for a long time. Even the Cyclone 10 LP is really just a renamed Cyclone IV E. I'm looking forward to the new 3. 🚀
