After the frustration of Trine 3, I've returned to my favorite #citybuilder: #AgainstTheStorm
I keep being amazed and gratified at how utterly relaxing the experience of playing the game remains, even when it gets hard. I think the gorgeous soundscape has a lot to do with this.
Anyway, I've embarked on an expedition to the gold seal. Upped the difficulty level for my first settlement to Prestige-1, which was actually starting to make me feel like I had to work a bit for my victory. Impatience got within 2 points of a loss near the start of the mid-game, as I wasn't yet close to completing most orders, and I had to juggle sacrifices and favor a lot to prevent anyone from leaving during the storm.
Still, in the end it was a comfortable victory (didn't even have to complete the decorations for my final order, as I won through high resolve), so for my next settlement I'm barging straight on to Prestige-2.
This run is the first time I'm playing with the Keepers of the Stone DLC. The Frogs slotted straight in, as if I've been playing with them since the start. Looking forward to encountering the new biome!
