I got in an argument with over Gen Ai. Most people are against Ai slop in some levels at least. but they continue to defend two core arguments:

-Ai art is good at idea stage of something, as long as human does the final thing-

-Ai writing is is acceptable tool to shorten your work as long as you are checking it-

I can point out problems in both of these, and i will later here.

This is an interesting read about the under-representation of specific languages/cultures in the datasets. We all know the training datasets are biased, but I had not considered quite how they exacerbate the marginalisation of local knowledge. :(
