Granite4.1 and Nemotron Mini are good enough for chatting, advanced reasoning, cohesive responses, etc
But they're not quite at the "writing code by itself" phase yet. It needs a lot of help
I want to try mixed cpu/gpu and a larger model to see if it will help, but I'm not sure i care enough to spend the time doing that
For now, granite is good enough, licensed properly, and fast
Nemotron is the thinking style model I can put up with

It's even worth. The negative impact are hard to imagine. A very strong opposition to AI is now vital.

The latest fundraising email from Mozilla describes a project to "make AI more inclusive more inclusive by ensuring non-English languages are properly represented in AI systems".
Yet more colonialist looting and despoiling the cultures of the world in order to destroy them under endless AI slop.
At this point I feel Mozilla is outright an enemy of humanity.
