During this trial by fire, I picked up some fun trade lingo — things like the shy button, subharmonic whooshes, ripple trims, hairy armpits, goat bleats, and my personal favorite, the Wichita Watusi.

I think at least one of them has potential outside the editing suites — “All right, who let out the subharmonic whoosh?”
