"The cloth has a balanced weave base using green cotton in both warp and weft. At five points across the weft the green is replaced by bands with two strips with stripes in pink, black or yellow cotton. Between these are scattered a large assortment of individual motifs woven in supplementary weft of white, pink, yellow and black cotton."
