I remember the last time we had two interstate teams in the AFL Grand Final, and I'll tell you who's the winner in that scenario: hospitality operators. The CBD will be heaving with interstate visitors, occupying hotel rooms and eating at restaurants. Will be a huge weekend, I expect. :)

The nice thing about being willing to watch *any* sport is when the AFL Grand Final comes along over 9,000 miles from you, you don't question why over 100,000 people are in attendance or what's going on, you just sit your butt down and enjoy what ends up being an amazing game the same as you would for a sport you're more used to.
