Played another session of my #Knave2e conversion of the #AFistFulOfFeathers over lunch yesterday.
Two things. We are continuing playing even if there are only two players available. Also, as suspected, combat is a lot more dicey. Even against relatively minor encounters.
I needed to remind the players that combat was gong to be even more dangerous and that they needed to eithe fight dirtier and set up advantages or run.
Still lots of fun. It is a great adventure.

@Epidiah I will probably be giving out candy to the few brave souls that decide to venture up our driveway. My side of our entire street is on a hill and we sit in the exact middle. By the time they get to us, they are often too tired to go up and down the steep driveways.
No games planned for Halloween, but hoping to resume my office run of #AFistfulOfFeathers (its Knave-DnD so...) over lunch on Friday.
Now that there are more Teacup episodes out, I may binge those.

I ran a lunchtime session of my #Knave2e conversion of #AFistFulOfFeathers for my work colleagues.
They ended up saving two of their party members from being trapped and nearly drowning in quickmud and then had a good night's rest before being attacked by a twelve foot one-eyed crocodile when they were trying to cross a river the next day.
They were terrified.
It was a lot of fun.

#RPGaDay2024 Day 2 - Most recently played RPG
My most recently played role playing game was @yochaigal's Cairn (1e) role playing game.
I am running my daughter's through Martin Orchard's, of Pointless Monument Games, A Fistful of Feathers. Cairn, and the adventure, are a delight.

I spent my lunch hour converting the #AFistfulOfFeathers #CairnRPG to #Knave2e so I could run it for my work #TTRPG lunchtime group while one of our players is at #GenCon.
I'm getting the hang of these monster conversions to Knave's system. Still can't do it on the fly, but getting close.

I'll probably be finishing up my run of the #AFistfulOfFeathers adventure for my daughters this weekend and I am looking for something to run for them next.
What is your favorite published fantasy #RPG / #TTRPG adventure to run? What about it makes it fun to run?

I helped my youngest daughter make her #CairnRPG character this weekend. She's a former blacksmith who took a spellbook as payment and decided to become an adventurer in the pursuit of more magic.
Her single spell is Comprehend.
My daughter finds this hilarious.
I can't wait to play #AFistfulOfFeathers with them soon.

finished running Fistful of Feathers - really fun adventure, and pretty easy to run!
Everyone managed to survive, and become rich through collecting massive numbers of feathers, though mostly by avoiding combat
