After beating Sri Lanka today, Afghanistan have inexplicably got themselves almost into contention for a semi-final place. Since there's still a couple of intra-top-4 matches to go, it's not entirely beyond the realms of fantasy that, should Australia have a bit of a wobble, Afghanistan could sneak in (especially if they beat them.)

Bei meinen Recherchen habe ich auch „Afghanistan - Unbesiegter Verlierer“ von Natalie Amiri (Aufbau Verlage, 2022, ISBN 978-3-351-03963-9) gelesen. Sehr wichtiger Baustein im Kanon der aktuellen Afghanistan-Literatur! Das Buch begeistert mich durch die persönlichen Interviews mit weiblichen und männlichen Akteuren in #AFG, die ausgeprägte Landeskenntnis und klare Haltung von @natalieamiri Danke dafür. Besonders beeindruckend: Kapitel 12 „Der Abzug“, in dem sie das kommunikative Chaos auf Ebenen der Ministerien schildert. Thema #Ortskräfte … meinerseits klare Lesempfehlung 📚 Danke Natalie
