  1. #Affirmation
Today I will feel no personal resentment toward any one of the fascists in my community, nor detest any of the moderate liberals who have enabled the authoritarian rise & plunder. They are all human, and each has been manipulated in a manner seemingly beyond their values, logical comprehension, innate kindness, and their own interests.

I can despise and repudiate, tomorrow.

  2. 💭 AFFIRMATION:

"Every stroke is a step toward wholeness."

    From our Healing Lines collection.

You don't have to finish the page. You don't have to color perfectly. You just have to show up for yourself.

    That's enough. You're enough. 💚

  8. "As Western models of gender affirmation fall short, one takatāpui Māori turns to pūhoro and whakapapa – reclaiming identity through tā moko and redefining what it means to be seen.
    ...
If a society influences what gender looks like within their communities, what does it look like within te ao Māori? To me, it looks like moko."

  12. Nobody #dreams big who cannot #make their #dream a #reality in small #ways that #manifest #desire seen in part.

In life, you will find that #hope is the #spark of love that lets you witness the #vision of absolute #purpose here and now which you already #embody into #form no matter what.

All #affirmation does is act like reverse hope for the #presence you shape around you.

No #work of #art is inherently #beautiful without being shaped by some #form of #trauma that the #artist has overcame.

  14. I am a human being. I have a body, and I love that I do, no matter how much trouble it gives me. I modify it as needed.

I stay in the shadows because I am sick of feeding the machine, sick of being data to ingest, label, categorize, and steal. Yes, I am a stereotype, a queer anarchist woman who doesn't like labels. I don't need explanation, I am embodied, I am in "this here".

I still am in the shared virtual everywhere. Seeing it getting abused doesn't make me stop loving what it can be.

I spend so much time being tired that I forget who I am. I always wake back up, with stories and images and code.

I want human connection. I want to make sure everyone knows they're loved and worthy.

I am protective of wetlands. My safe quiet place growing up was a small wetland with disused hiking paths. It's better maintained now, and I live elsewhere.

I collect books about Mesopotamia. I read them, too.

When in doubt, I trust Zhuang Zi.

If you need to know me, we will find each other. It's much more difficult to find me a second time.
