Few people know that #velcro was originally made from #affenpinscher fur. My #dog had this leaf stuck to her face for a good 15 minutes while we walked in the park earlier today. -
2/2 I bought it three years ago, our first winter together, back in Brighton. She was fine in cold weather, until one day we went for a walk when it was actually snowing and she looked cold and miserable. I picked her up and put her inside my jacket, and walked to the pet store (It was nice to have one ten minutes walk from where I lived). They only had this one thing her size. I put in on her, and when we went back outside, she romped around happily. Enough said. #dogs #dogsOfTheFederation #winter #affenpinscher

1/2 Lex has a little sweater for cold weather. It's a pullover, so tricky to get on. It's ugly. It looks like the doggy equivalent of an ill-fitting hand-me-down, possibly originally knitted by an untalented grandmother. Or something. But she doesn't mind it at all. Her fur is thick, so I only put it on her in properly cold weather. Today was the first time she wore it this winter. There was white stuff in the air, but it didn't stick.
