Evacuations have been lifted for: CCU-139-B, CCU-139-C, CCU-147-A, CCU-147-B, CCU-152-A, CCU-153-C, CCU-156-A, CCU-157-C, CCU-158, CCU-159, CCU-160, CCU-161, CCU-162, CCU-163, CCU-164, CCU-165, CCU-166, CCU-167, CCU-168-A, CCU-169, CCU-170 ,CCU-171, CCU-172, CCU-173

The following zones downgraded to evac warning areas CCU-139-A, CCU-147-D, CCU-152-C, CCU-152-D, CCU-153-A, CCU-156-C, CCU-157-B, CCU-168-C

HWY 4 is now open. The following txt closures are in effect:  Pyle Rd at O'Byrnes Ferry Rd, Rock Creek at HWY 4, Britchen Drive at the fire perimeter line, Rock Creek at the fire perimeter line.

The fire is 5,425 acres & now 23% contained per CAL FIRE.

Evacuations currently remain the same for both Calaveras & Tuolumne County. Copters are working an area on the eastern side of the fire adjacent to Hwy 4, south of Bonanza Mine Way.

Smoke plumes from three active grass/brush fires in NorCal are visible on weather radar this PM. These wind-driven fires are putting out a fair bit of smoke, as well as some shallow pyrocumulus clouds at times. #AeroFire near Copperopolis presently of most concern. #CAfire #CAwx
